He met his wife\, Dr. Jean Lee-Mirzayan in dental school and they started a practice together in downtown Los Angeles. \nEarly in his career\, Dr. Mirzayan believed that there was little chance that he (and the industry as a whole) would continue to practice analog dentistry for too long\, and he eventually purchased a CEREC system in January of 2001. Since then\, he has used every version of the CEREC\, and has milled on more than a dozen different chairside milling machines. He is also well versed in CBCT technologies and has had a unit in his own practice since 2009. Since then\, he has trained well over 10\,000 dentists in the use of CAD/CAM\, CBCT and guided implant technologies. \nIn addition to private practice\, he co-founded www.cerecdoctors.com; the original site that fostered a training/social network for the community of digital dentists\, and essentially set the tone for the growth that the industry enjoys today. In 2013\, Dr. Mirzayan founded CAD-Ray to serve as a center for teaching dentists guided surgery techniques and how to fabricate surgical guides. Since its inception\, CAD-Ray has manufactured over 35\,000 surgical guides and counting. It wasn’t until 2018 that the distribution arm of CAD-Ray was formed\, which focuses on the distribution of reliable\, efficient digital dentistry options as well as focused training and support for those technologies. \nThese days\, Dr. Mirzayan spends most of his professional time in three ways. First\, he travels the country teaching intraoral scanning\, digital dentistry shortcuts and advanced dental techniques in his role as the clinical education director for CAD-Ray. Second\, he rigorously tests new digital (dental) equipment; evaluating each product for reliability and durability to see if they are worthy of joining the CAD-Ray portfolio of supported products. Third\, he still practices dentistry; both as a way of staying fresh\, and also to test out new techniques and product innovations. His favorite part of the business is knowing that the strong majority of practicing CAD-Ray customers use their equipment on a daily basis. \n\n***GOOD NEWS!*** This course includes access to the 3D Discovery event with Dr. Vu Le\, details below: \n\n\nDr. Vu Le \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nCourse Objectives \nThe Complete Nightguard Workflow: Almost all dental patients have signs of bruxism and providing nightguards are a necessary part of their treatment plan. Dr. Vu Le has mastered the effortless nightguard workflow. See the signs of bruxism that you and your team should look out for. Learn the fundamentals of scanning with a novel stepped bite stick which captures the patient in centric relation. Dr. Le will demonstrate how to upload the scans into several different online design services and design a splint utilizing AI in just minutes! Vu Le\, DDS is a general dentist in Foothill Ranch\, CA. He is a pioneer in dental 3d printing and holds two US parents for his breakthrough photography system\, the VPR. This course is sponsored by Sprintray and CAD-Ray. Dr. Le designs\, manufactures and sells the VPR using 3d printing. \nAbout the Instructor \nVu Le\, DDS is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He hold two patents for the VPR\, a groundbreaking lighting system for smartphone cameras. The VPR is designed and manufactured over thousands of hours of 3d printing.  He is a longtime member of the Sprintray printing community\, and inventor of the VuBase printing raft and several other calibration design tools.  Most importantly\, he is a husband\, dad\, and small town dentist just like anyone else. \nDisclosures\nThis course is made possible by an honorarium from CAD-RAY and Sprintray. The reliability map\, unique to the Medit i500 helps you stay on track and avoid model distortion and inaccuracies \n	\n	\n	Please enable JavaScriptplay-rounded-fill\n\n \n \n LinkEmbedCopy and paste this HTML code into your webpage to embed.\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n\n\n\nAfternoon Session: \n\n\n\n\nDigital implant restorations\nMastery the artificial intelligent implant suprastructure identification system to manage direct abutments and scanbodies\nDesign single units\, copy cases\, and custom abutments from scan bodies\n\n\n\n\nThe following videos demonstrate how the Medit i500 has artificial intelligence that can readily identify a dental implant scanbody\, a direct abutment\, or even an impression abutment.  What is even more impressive is that you can import your own library of implant components or design and create your own scanbody.  This automatic identification of implant suprasctructures saves dozen of steps whether you wish to fabricate restorations in the office or send it to the lab. \n	\n	\n	Please enable JavaScriptplay-rounded-fill\n\n \n \n LinkEmbedCopy and paste this HTML code into your webpage to embed.\n\n	\n Medit's i500 Artifical Intelligence Identifies Implant Fixture\n \n \n \n \n ALL of the Pertinent Information is Imported into exocad as One Complex\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n\n\n\nMedit i500’s artificial intelligence implant identification system spots a titanium scanbody on a freshly uncovered biomax implant. It didn’t matter how bloody the field was- it readily identified the suprastructure which is then transferred to the cad software where the implant location and timing is correctly displayed and the design of the custom abutment begins\, saving many steps and reducing potential errors. The cool part is the software can recognize impression abutment\, tibases\, and lots of other supra structures.\n\nYou can see this case in more detail here \n	\n	\n	Please enable JavaScriptplay-rounded-fill\n\n \n \n LinkEmbedCopy and paste this HTML code into your webpage to embed.\n\n	\n medit i500 artifical intelligence scanbody identification\n \n \n \n \n impression abutment and tibase scan\n \n \n \n \n	\n\n\n  \n\nDAY 2 Morning Session: Digital Implantology \n\nIntroduction and mastery of Integration of Cone Beam data and STL data\nUnderstanding the limitation of Cone Beam and STL integration\nIntegration and limitation of multiple Cone Beam data sets\nProper digitization of denture duplicates for stent fabrication\nMultiple ways to design a surgical stent and how to choose appropriate design type\nProper case presentation techniques for patients\nSingle implant placement designs\nUnderstand how to use Cone Beam scans and surgical stent\nTreatment planning large cases\nAppropriate case set ups and their ramifications during surgery\nThe multiple uses for chairside denture duplication\nChairside denture duplication and scan appliance fabrication\nImpression techniques for multiple fixtures\nImpression techniques for multi-abutments\nRestorative designs of abutments on CAD software\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfternoon Session: Edentulous and Full Mouth Cases \n\nImmediate extractions and how to keep track of the vertical dimension\nThe multiple restorative options available to you\nAccurate transfers of fixtures to models\nDigital impressions for edentulous cases\nEdentulous case design in with digital dentures\nphotogrammetry and intra-oral scans of full arch cases\n\n\n	Related
