Meet just some of the friendly faces at CAD-Ray
Providing top-notch, American-based clinical and technical support all day, every day. These are just a handful of the REAL people devoted to your success.
CAD-Ray was founded in 2018 by Dr. Armen Mirzayan, a practicing dentist and digital dentistry pioneer who has personally trained over 10,000 dentists on CAD/CAM and CT technologies. Based in Las Vegas, NV, CAD-Ray is an authorized independent dealer for Medit, 3Shape, Shining3D, SprintRay, VHF, HDX, DOF and more — offering transparent pricing, expert training, and ongoing support with every purchase. Unlike big-box distributors, we’re not locked into one manufacturer’s ecosystem. Our team of specialists has collectively spent decades at Patterson Dental, Henry Schein, and Dentsply Sirona before joining CAD-Ray to do things the right way.

ABOUT LAURA GENEY
I grew up just outside Detroit, MI, and my involvement with dentistry started early in my life as I watched my mom’s dental practice grow into one of the most sought after in the Metro Detroit area.
In 2011, I graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences.
I spent my last year studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa and Barcelona, Spain.
After graduation, I moved to New York and started my own documentary film production business, Vanish Films. As a founding member and head of operations, I produced and distributed feature length documentary Do Not Resist. Do Not Resist went on to win several awards globally, including the Tribeca Film Festival Grand Jury Prize and the American Bar Association Silver Gavel Award. The film was acquired by PBS and Amazon Prime.
I started my 3D scanning career when I moved to Los Angeles. I worked for Mimic 3D, scanning and designing for several clients in the aerospace, automotive and animation industries.
I am now thrilled to be involved in the digital dentistry field working with CAD-Ray
It’s incredible to be part of a team who is as passionate and dedicated to the growth and education of its clients, as they are to the distribution of the technology.

ABOUT FRANK DELUCA
I have spent 15-20 years immersed in the world of digital dentistry, developing deep expertise in milling technology, dental furnaces, and CAD design software. Like many in this field, I got my start with CEREC equipment and grew from there — expanding my knowledge across a vast array of manufacturers and systems.
Over the years I have completed numerous equipment installations and training sessions for CAD-Ray, helping dental practices get the most out of their technology investments from day one. There are few milling-related challenges I haven’t seen — or solved.

ABOUT DAMIEN BONNER

ABOUT FRANK WEINSTEIN
I have been in dental CAD/CAM my entire career. I started working for my father in his practice from the age of 14. He was one of the first people to buy the e4d machine. In high school, my brother and i used to go to his office after hours and help him learn how to design and mill restorations. We would take it apart and put it back together for maintenance.
I was never really that smart but I was really good at helping people. Before I knew it, I was contracted by big companies to teach dentists how to use the technology. Soon it became a full time job and my passion. I have now trained thousands of doctors over the last 10 years integrate CAD/CAM and CT machines into their practice. I was fortunate to be the first partner at CAD-Ray.com and am extremely proud of what we have accomplished.
We are deeply committed to our doctors and clients success. That is exactly what has set us apart from all other distribution companies”

ABOUT DR. ARMEN MIRZAYAN
Armen Mirzayan graduated from Northwestern Dental School in 1998 and completed a General Practice residency at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He met his wife, Dr. Jean Lee-Mirzayan and dental school and they started a practice together in downtown Los Angeles.
He decided that there was little chance that we would practice dentistry in an analog manner for his whole career so he purchased the CEREC system in January of 2001. Since then he has utilized the Redcam, the Bluecam, the Omnicam and has milled restorations on more than 8 different chairside milling machines. He is also well versed in CBCT technologies and had one installed in his practice in 2009.
Separate from his private practice, he co-founded cerecdoctors.com and now has trained over 10,000 dentists on CAD/CAM, CT, guided implant technologies. CAD-Ray.com was founded as an imaging center and implant planning service and the focus changed to dental technology distribution in the summer of 2018.

ABOUT GIOVANNI-RAMON CORTES
Technical Support & Education Specialist
Giovanni-Ramon Cortes operates by a simple standard: own the mission, lift the people around you, and never let the details slip.
He earned that standard over 13 years in the U.S. Air Force and tested it in the emergency department, where pressure is constant, decisions carry real consequences, and accountability is non-negotiable. He still lives by the Air Force core values: integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all he does.
At CAD-Ray, Giovanni brings that discipline to digital dentistry. Working across Medit, Shining 3D, and 3Shape TRIOS platforms, he pairs deep technical troubleshooting with education that explains the reasoning behind every step. Clinicians and their teams come away more capable and more confident.
Behind the scenes, he builds the training and support resources that turn individual expertise into shared knowledge. Those resources help prepare new team members, standardize best practices, and keep CAD-Ray’s customer experience consistent as the company grows.
A University of South Florida biology graduate who is bilingual in English and Spanish, Giovanni brings clinical understanding to every technical conversation.
From military service to emergency medicine to digital dentistry, his approach has never changed: take ownership, invest in people, and build something others can depend on.
Off the clock, he’s working his way through the world’s coffee origins, one espresso at a time.

ABOUT HEATHER GRAMLEY

Her view is that when people understand the benefits, the value speaks for itself, and dependable support turns that confidence into lasting relationships.
She works with an ownership mindset: she takes initiative, anticipates what customers need, and looks for ways to improve their experience and how the team works together.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys fitness, exploring Tampa, time with loved ones and growing in her faith.

ABOUT JASON MINATREA
Director of CAD/CAM Technology
I’ve spent almost 10 years in dental, always on the digital side, implementing technology that helps practices grow, run more efficiently, and take more control of their business. At CAD-Ray, I lead the mill team. We help practices build their digital milling workflows from the ground up: mills, furnaces, the software that runs them, financing, and training.
I often say that who you buy your equipment from matters more than what you buy. We’re passionate about delivering the best customer experience where it matters most: installation, training, and ongoing support. Our job doesn’t end on install day. That’s where it starts.
My “why” is simple: I like helping companies get better at what they already do. There’s nothing like watching a practice invest in new technology, expand what it can do, and deliver a better experience for its patients.
Outside of work, I’m a husband and a dad to three little ones, ages 6, 5, and 7 months. In 2026 I trained for and finished my first ultramarathon, and I’m always looking for the next hard physical challenge to find out what I’m capable of.
