What software does the Medit T510 use?
The T510 runs Medit Scan for Labs and connects to Medit Link, Medit’s free cloud platform for case management and clinic-to-lab collaboration. Scans export as open files for exocad and other CAD software.
Is the T510 an open system?
Yes. You can export your scan data and design in the CAD software of your choice, with no subscription required to scan.
Which articulators can I scan on the T510?
Medit offers optional jigs for scanning on the articulator: the KAS jig for Artex, KaVo and SAM articulators, and the AM jig for Bioart and Denar articulators.
Can the T510 scan impressions?
Dedicated impression scanning is a T710 feature. If you scan a lot of impressions, the T710 is the better fit.
