About Dr. Usa Bunnag

Usa Bunnag, DDS, graduated from Howard University School of Dentistry in 1994.  Before becoming a dentist, she was a Certified Dental Assistant and Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Her career spans over 42 years in dentistry.  Dr. Bunnag owns two fee-for-service dental practices emphasizing comprehensive dentistry using digital and laser technology. She has been 3D printing with SprintRay technology for over five years.  Dr. Bunnag is a mom of two young men and a caretaker for her disabled husband.  She is also the President and Founder of Smiles on Wings, a charity providing humanitarian help in Thailand.  Her work as a humanitarian earned her recognition from the ADA as the 2017 Humanitarian of the Year and from the ICD, USA section, the Distinguished Humanitarian in 2019, and countless accolades.  Her passion for dentistry reflects her passion for life and humanity.

Course Objectives

The Complete Nightguard Workflow Almost all dental patients have signs of bruxism and providing nightguards are a necessary part of their treatment plan. Dr. Vu Le has mastered the effortless nightguard workflow. See the signs of bruxism that you and your team should look out for. Learn the fundamentals of scanning with a novel stepped bite stick which captures the patient in centric relation. Dr. Le will demonstrate how to upload the scans into several different online design services and design a splint utilizing AI in just minutes! Vu Le, DDS is a general dentist in Foothill Ranch, CA. He is a pioneer in dental 3d printing and holds two US parents for his breakthrough photography system, the VPR. This course is sponsored by Sprintray and CAD-Ray. Dr. Le designs, manufactures and sells the VPR using 3d printing.

About the Instructor

Vu Le, DDS is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He hold two patents for the VPR, a groundbreaking lighting system for smartphone cameras. The VPR is designed and manufactured over thousands of hours of 3d printing.  He is a longtime member of the Sprintray printing community, and inventor of the VuBase printing raft and several other calibration design tools.  Most importantly, he is a husband, dad, and small town dentist just like anyone else.

About the speaker

Nerd, dweeb, freak – Dr Andrew Ip has been called it all.

Except now geek is chic.

What was once a simple hobby now takes up a significant portion of his daily work.

Handy Andy is a Sydney-based private general dentist who presents regularly on dental 3D printing. He achieved Membership in General Dental Practice with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2017 and obtained a Graduate Diploma of Orthodontics at James Cook University in 2019 and a Masters of Science in Implantology and Dental Surgery in 2022. He has recently obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Dentistry with the International Digital Dentistry Academy.

Dr Ip has been teaching dentists and technicians how to integrate additive technologies to their workplaces for several years and is a Key Opinion Leader for several digital dentistry-related companies. When he’s not designing a surgical guide, printing a splint or polishing a printed crown, you can find him glued to a screen designing printable table organisers or nesting a helmet for his cats in a slicer.
