Importing cases into our software is very easy and there are many ways that this can be accomplished. You can bring in stl, obj, or ply files from ANY intra-oral or desktop scanner.
It is best to mark the margins in our software and design the restorations and then transfer those to production. Some scanners allow you to export a project that contains the whole complex (upper and lower jaws articulated) while others allow you to bring in models individually. You can import the models at the very beginning of the design process or bring them in at later stages of the design process.
